Outside In

My abstracts are explorations on the allegory of beauty.

As experiences and landscapes churn away in my subconscious, the impulse to express and understand the internalized narrative, prompts me to dance with images, discover and play with color as emotional communication.

I juxtapose layer after layer, building on my changing sense of harmony and visual vocabulary. I’m a student of the work as it comes out the other side, moving between adding to and excavating backwards through previous lives to pull out my most current reality.

In each piece I’m stretching towards connecting both myself and my viewer with the same feeling state reached when looking outside of oneself and feeling flooded by a sense of being just a small part of a perfect whole.
